All pieces are handmade by KB Tufts. Due to the handcrafted nature of each rug, slight variations, small imperfections, and differences in finish may occur. These are not faults but part of the unique quality of handmade work.

 

 

Custom Orders (Create Your Own & Preset Designs)

All rugs are made to order, including both fully custom designs and customisable preset designs.

Because each piece is created specifically for you, orders are non-refundable and non-returnable once work has begun. Please ensure all details provided are correct before placing your order.

Payment (Create Your Own Custom)

Full payment or a minimum deposit of 50% is required before any work begins and will be done via my KB Tufts PayPal business account to allow for a 2-part payment.

This secures your order, materials, and production time. If a deposit is paid, the remaining balance must be cleared in full before your piece is completed and shipped.

Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun. Failure to complete payment may result in delays or cancellation of your order.

Pre-set custom design orders are to be paid in full at checkout. These are still made to order based on your selected options and are non-refundable once work has begun.

Design Process & Approval

You may be consulted during the design process where necessary. Once a design has been agreed and production has started, no further changes can be made.

Design Adaptation

Some designs may be too detailed or complex for certain sizes. In these cases, the design may be slightly simplified to ensure the best possible finish and durability of the rug. Any adjustments will be made carefully while maintaining the overall look and feel of the original design.

Colours

Colours may vary slightly from what is seen on screen due to lighting, screen settings, and materials used. Every effort will be made to match your chosen colours as closely as possible. However, exact colour matches cannot always be guaranteed due to material availability and variations between yarn batches.

Sizing

All sizes are approximate and may vary slightly due to the handmade nature of each piece.

Processing Time

Each rug is made to order. Processing times may vary depending on workload and design complexity. Estimated time frames will be communicated when placing your order. As a general guide, most orders are completed within 1–5 weeks, but this may vary.

 

Shipping & Delivery

UK Delivery:

All orders are checked and securely packaged before dispatch.

I charge a flat rate of £5.99 on all UK orders. 

Orders are shipped via Royal Mail or Evri (UK only).

Free UK delivery is only available on fully custom rug orders 4ft and above.

International Delivery:

I currently ship to the USA and selected European countries, including: France, Germany, Netherlands, Ireland, Spain and Italy.

All international orders are securely packaged and shipped via trusted courier services.

A flat rate of £29.99 is applied at checkout.

Tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

Orders placed outside of these locations may be cancelled and refunded.

Once your order has been dispatched, delivery times are dependent on the courier and are outside of my control.

Refunds & Returns

Once a design has been agreed, payment has been received and work has begun, rugs are non-refundable due to the handmade nature of each piece.

Returns are not accepted and refunds will not be issued for change of mind or minor variations that are a natural part of the handmade process.

If there is an issue with your order due to an error on my part, please contact me as soon as possible so this can be reviewed and resolved where appropriate.

 

Care & Use

Each piece is handmade and designed as a unique statement piece. While rugs can be used functionally, they are primarily intended as decorative art pieces rather than everyday, high-traffic rugs. 

Rugs should be handled with care to maintain the quality and longevity of the piece.

Detailed aftercare guidance is provided with your order and is also available on the website.

Use of Rugs

Rugs made with acrylic are intended for wall display or low foot traffic areas.

If rugs are placed in high traffic areas or used in ways outside of what has been advised, this is at the customer’s own discretion and risk. KB Tufts is not responsible for wear, damage, or reduced longevity caused by improper use.

Content & Social Media

I regularly document and share my work on social media (including TikTok) as part of my creative process and business. This may include photos or videos of your rug during different stages of creation and the final piece.

If you would prefer your order not to be shared, please let me know before or during the design process.

Cancellations

Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
