Your rug is handmade, and with the right care it will stay looking its best.

General

• Some light shedding (loose fibres) is normal, especially for your new rugs

Cleaning

• Blot spills gently using an un-dyed cloth

• Avoid harsh chemicals

• Never rub the fibres

• Do not put your rug in a washing machine or fully submerge it in water

Maintenance

• Vacuum regularly using suction only (no beater bar)

• Rotate your rug every couple of weeks to help prevent uneven wear

 

Trimming

• Loose threads can be trimmed with scissors — do not pull

 

Placement

• Avoid placing your rug in damp areas

• Keep out of direct sunlight

• Your rug is best suited for low foot traffic areas or as wall art
